The biggest project I've involved is AceMap —— a new idea of academic map system at the Intelligent Internet of Things (IIOT) Research Center, supervised by Distinguished Prof. Xinbing Wang. I was in charge of the unique feature of AceMap, scholarly big data visualization. The system has attracted ChinaSo and Microsoft Academic, and certain cooperations have been achieved. |
I have also done research on clustering algorithms in Vehicular Ad Hoc Networks (VANET) at the Institute of Wireless Communication Technology (IWCT), supervised by Associate Prof. Jing Liu. I proposed a weighted clustering algorithm and did the simulations in OMNeT++, which improves the clustering stability by around 10%. |
My experience of participating in the Summer Camp for Elite Students at School of Engineering, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the intensive summer program at the University of Washington impels me to further my education in CS and to get more work experience as a software engineer. |
